Mónica Cristancho

Mónica is the North America Cross Border Payments Head within Citi’s Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) business. In this role she is responsible for leading the growth agenda for the cross-border payments business and driving commercialization strategies at scale across all client segments: commercial banking, corporates, financial and non-bank financial institutions and public sector. She has been part of the cross-border payments business since March 2019. Prior to her current role, Mónica served as product manager for two years in Citi’s Platform and Data Services unit where she supported the bank’s global investment efforts on strategic initiatives from evaluation to approval and execution. She started her career in 2009 in the Markets division at Citi Colombia where she held roles in Foreign Exchange and Fixed Income Sales where she focused on commercializing and structuring Derivatives solutions for clients to hedge their FX, interest rate and commodities exposure.
