  • Regulatory The Future of Consumer Data: DFA 1033, Open Banking and Beyond
    The CFPB’s release of its proposed rule to implement Section 1033 of the Dodd-Frank Act this Fall, will lead to the first regulatory framework for consumer financial data sharing. This panel will feature voices from across the “open banking” ecosystem— banks, data aggregators and intermediaries, and data receiving non-banks—discussing key regulatory priorities including the role of a standard setting organization for data sharing and the interrelation of the rulemaking with other regulatory obligations, such as third-party vendor management.
